Rising from the remains of a former pirate stronghold in Sale, Morocco is a completely different structure – a circus tent. The first Moroccan circus school, providing alternative education for physically gifted young people, has found a home here. The film is a close-up view of the lives of several of the students, from rigorous entrance exams to the gruelling training for the first performance. The future performers must overcome the laws of gravity and find the motivation to perform better.
