The Time of Forests

Loggers with monstrous machines reminiscent of Transformers see the forest only as a fruitful wood plantation where there is no place for living creatures. And against them are the conservationists, foresters or lumberjacks who see the forest as a living continuum and who seek to preserve it. The director provides an insight into the everyday routine of a diverse range of people connected with the forest for good and ill. He records and follows them in their natural environment to bring the audience closer to the broader aspects of forest management and the personal philosophy of those who are involved in it, whether as bearers of the trend of turning the forest into a "wood factory" or as supporters of cultivation approaches.
