In March, during One World FF 2026, forty festival professionals from twelve countries gathered in Prague for Festivals meet Festivals to talk honestly about accessibility — what's working, what isn't, and where festivals are stuck.

O pořadu

The festival held the event because accessibility is core to how it operates, not a side event. The day opened with a keynote from accessibility designer Mariana Chytilová on ten years of accessibility at One World, continued with a conversation with Lawrence Carter-Long on disability representation on screen, Q&As with Fighter protagonist Geir Kåre Nyland and Out of Frame director Bahman Yazdan Panah, and a contribution from Petr Vysuček, founder of Deaf Friendly, on why disabled people need to be on the team, not just consulted.
It's also where the idea for Access Pass — our new working group for accessible festivals — took shape.
